C.T. Kirk

C.T. graduated from York Technical College where he majored in Business Administration and Paralegal studies. After working several jobs, he decided to enter the educational field due to the testament of a local 3rd grader and a push from his wife. He graduated with honors from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and obtained a Master's in History from Grand Canyon University. He teaches in the Lancaster County School District as a 6th grade teacher.

 

He finished his first book "Learn to Take Back Your Mind: Strategize, Unify, and Pray Your Way UP!" in 2016. In 2020, he released his second book, "How the West was White Washed", which details the accomplishments of African Americans in the Western Frontier. In 2022, he released his third book "Why Me: Boys are Molested Too", which details his personal story of overcoming molestation. C.T.'s accomplishments as an author has opened up numerous opportunities to speak on subjects that many would call taboo or topics too deep for most speakers. In 2025, he released his fourth book "Breaking the Silence: How to Hear and Heal the Hidden Wounds of Men" and his fifth book "Heal Now".

In 2009, C.T. founded the Sanctuary of Life Outreach Center in the city of Rock Hill, SC. The church started with ten members and today has grown to be an impactful church in the city. C.T. is known as "The Community Pastor" for his work in the community. He has received the "Dream Keeper Award", "Come-See-Me Community Service Award", NAACP Community Service Award, and numerous awards for his commitment to building a stronger presence in the community. He is also a member of the Rock Hill (SC) Alumni Chapter of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.

 

C.T. is married to Dr. Monique Durham-Kirk and they are the parents to three children: Anela (Josh), Brendan, and Kyndall.  C.T. is a dynamic motivational speaker, workshop leader, and writer.
